Mission Statement

The Northside Food Pantry Advisors ensure sustainable nutritional security for our neighbors by donating time, money and goods.

We believe access to nutritional food is a basic human right and vow to share all the resources entrusted to us with reliability, respect, and compassion.  

Northside Food Pantry Advisors

What started in 2013 as an informal neighborhood “coffee crew” has turned into a formal and cohesive effort to consistently supply the Northside Food Pantry with healthy and wholesome foods. While the Northside Food Pantry Advisors (NFPA) no longer has a relationship with the Northside Food Pantry, we support other food distribution events throughout the 15212, 15214, and 15233 zip codes. The following individuals were members of the 2023 Northside Food Pantry Advisors Executive Committee: Mark Bibro, Renee Brown, Sue Carlino, Allison Ebeck, Rachael Heisler, Leah Kaighn, Bob Maravalli, Laura Meixell, Nick Mosites, Collyn O’Donnell, Ben Sgroi, Karalyn Smith, Carri Stec, Jana Thompson, and Jen Vander Plaats.
